Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D design and animation software such as Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of 3D modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering techniques.
• Experience with animation principles and motion graphics creation.
• Solid portfolio demonstrating 3D design and animation work across projects.
• Excellent visual communication with a keen eye for aesthetics and composition.
• Strong collaboration and openness to feedback from stakeholders.

About the role

We are Gavy, a Singaporean brand looking for a talented and creative 3D Designer to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling three-dimensional visual content that brings our creative vision to life.

Key responsibilities

• Design and create high-quality 3D models, assets, and visual content for various projects
• Develop and execute 3D animations and motion graphics that effectively communicate creative concepts
• Maintain consistency with established design standards, brand guidelines, and project specifications
• Participate in the brainstorming and conceptualisation process to contribute creative ideas and innovative solutions
• Optimise 3D assets for various platforms and applications, ensuring technical excellence and performance
• Refine and iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and project leads

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in 3D design and animation software such as Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or similar professional tools
• Strong understanding of 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques
• Experience with animation principles and motion graphics creation
• Solid portfolio demonstrating previous 3D design and animation work across various projects
• Excellent visual communication skills and a keen eye for aesthetic detail and composition
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving and creative challenges
• Knowledge of colour theory, visual hierarchy, and design principles
• Experience with video editing software or post-production tools is advantageous
• Familiarity with VFX or special effects pipelines is a valuable addition to your skillset
