Job summary

PT-Lawencon-Internasiona is seeking an Application Operations Support Engineer Level 1 to ensure availability and reliability of critical applications. The role includes monitoring, basic Linux administration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across cloud environments.

The candidate should be comfortable with shift work, possess a programming or scripting ability, and have a foundational understanding of containerization and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• Willing to work a 24/7 shift rotation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line operations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and IaaS (GCP/AWS/Azure/OpenStack).
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of application monitoring, incident management, escalation procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application operations support to ensure availability and reliability.
• Monitor performance, system health, and operational activities to prevent disruptions.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and analysis of errors and incidents.
• Offer first-level technical support and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Carry out basic Linux system administration tasks and log reviews.
• Support deployment, restarts, configuration changes, and routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to resolve incidents.
