Job summary

CITIC Securities International in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Operations Manager to assist the Director in managing critical operations across settlement, post-trade processing, cash management, and nominee services. You will review policies, support Front Office inquiries, and drive automation to improve efficiency.

The role requires 7+ years in securities brokerage or wealth management, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency in English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Project management experience and IT knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in managing key operational functions such as static data administration, post-trade processing, settlement, cash management, and nominee services.
• Review and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide expert support to Front Office and Business Teams on operational inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve operational problems promptly.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Drive process automation initiatives to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new products and business processes, ensuring proper controls and sufficient resources are in place prior to launch.
• Support system enhancements by participating in user acceptance testing and deployment phases.
• Assist in managing team performance and fostering a professional, high-performing work environment.
• Prepare management reports and conduct ad-hoc analyses as needed.
