Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong invites applications for a Waiter/Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team. Based at our Hong Kong property, you will provide attentive, friendly service and contribute to a delighted dining experience.

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong English and preferably Mandarin or Cantonese. Prior hotel F&B experience is highly regarded, and a passion for hospitality will help you thrive in a collaborative environment.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Division in Hong Kong, the Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing quality service in a friendly, natural, courteous manner and always be attentive. The Waiter/Waitress reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Deliver a delighted dining experience to our guests
• Create special moments and provide seamless service with guests
• Make recommendations on the choice of menu items with good product knowledge
• Meet and greet guest in a professional manner
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the restaurant

As Waiter/Waitress, we expect from you:

• Experienced in hotel F&B is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command in spoken English and preferably in Mandarin / Cantonese communication
• Passionate in customer service and hospitality industry
