Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) invites an experienced, commercially driven professional to join the Intermediaries Coverage team as Vice President, Intermediaries Coverage. The successful candidate will manage strategic relationships with a portfolio of intermediaries across Hong Kong, including international and regional brokers, investment banks, prime brokers and clearing participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in financial markets, exchanges, brokerages, investment banks, market infrastructure providers or related institutions.
• Demonstrated experience in sales, relationship management or business development within capital markets.
• Strong understanding of equity markets, exchange-traded derivatives, ETFs, market structure and post-trade processes.
• Established network across intermediaries operating in Hong Kong and broader Asia-Pacific markets; able to engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Client Relationship Management: Manage relationships with strategic intermediary clients and senior decision-makers.
• Business Development and Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to increase client participation and promote HKEX products.
• Product and Market Development: Support launches and market initiatives; gather client feedback.
• Market Intelligence and Client Advocacy: Capture market sentiment and escalate client concerns.
• Internal Collaboration: Coordinate resources across functions to deliver client engagement strategies.
