Job summary

Guotai Junan International is seeking a detail-oriented quality control professional to review IPO documentation such as prospectuses and A1s, ensuring accuracy and completeness. The role involves working with deal teams, legal and compliance, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance IPO execution quality.

The candidate should have at least 5 years in IPO vetting or quality control within a financial institution or investment bank, with strong English and Chinese language skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in law, accounting, finance or other relevant professional qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality control or IPO vetting in investment banking or financial institutions.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements including Listing Rules.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review IPO transaction documents (prospectus, A1) to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with deal teams, legal & compliance, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve IPO execution quality.
• Assess regulatory, legal and business risks associated with IPO transactions.
• Review and provide feedback on IPO structures, approval materials, and related documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and updates on regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Investment Banking Division.
