Job description

Responsibilities

• Review legal documents in relation to investment bank and equity capital market and provide support to the execution team on the finalization of legal documents;
• Review quality of due diligence steps performed of IPO projects including submissions on major issues to regulatory authorities and non-IPO projects;
• Supervise on the review and inspection on various KYC documents (e.g. AML documents, name screening and desktop search results);
• Identify issues of Listing Rule compliance, accounting matters and disclosure matters and update in-house manuals, policies, protocols and procedures;
• Review documents and record keeping of IPO projects and non-IPO projects, including prospectus, other listing documents, memorandum, checklists and due diligence documents prepared by the execution team;
• Provide legal, compliance and other professional support to the execution team;

Qualifications

• Professional qualification and/or university degree in Law, Accounting or Finance is preferred;
• At least 5 years solid experience in handling IPO and/or financial advisory transactions;
• Work experience in regulatory body or sizeable firm is preferred;
• Sound knowledge in the Listing Rules, Takeovers Codes and regulatory requirements;
• Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills;
• Self-motivated, responsible and a good team player;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese);
• Immediate available is preferred;
