Job summary

Marsh Risk in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned risk management professional to manage a portfolio of large multinational clients. You will handle insurance renewals, assess risk exposures, and collaborate with Marsh teams to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.

The role requires extensive general insurance experience, strong client servicing skills, and fluency in English and Chinese. You will drive profitability, coordinate regional offices and mentor junior staff as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in insurance, risk management or related field.
• IIQE or ANZIIF qualification required.
• 15+ years of general insurance experience, preferably underwriting background.
• Experience selling to education sector is a plus.
• Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, dedicated and flexible.
• Diligent and organized, good time management and efficient.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Large Multinational Clients, including insurance program renewal and daily client inquiries.
• Understand clients’ risk exposures and implement Marsh client servicing model to deliver insurance solutions and expand current client portfolio with new products, advisory services and other MMC services.
• Work with Marsh placement, specialty, claims and risk consulting teams on insurance renewals and solutions.
• Interact regularly with clients and provide assistance with coverage questions and program adjustments; solves problems regarding client account issues.
• Coordinate Marsh network offices and ensure local service standards/goals are delivered.
• Responsible for assigned account profitability, budget and receivables.
• Responsible for implementation of the Marsh Professional Standard and guidelines for assigned accounts.
• Coaching other team members to deliver timely and focused customer service.
