Job summary

Marsh in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Corporate Broking professional to lead on personal accounts, develop client and underwriter relationships, and support growth initiatives from our local team. You will draft client documents, analyze markets, and present opportunities while ensuring high service standards.

The role requires 8+ years in broking or general insurance, strong English and Chinese communication, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder or above.
• ACII or ANZIIF is preferable.
• 8+ years experience in broking/general insurance industry.
• Good PC Skills, including Word (English and Chinese), Excel & Power Point.
• Ambitious, solution focus and strong skills in client and underwriters relationship management.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Lead on personal accounts by setting goals and action plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Draft clients' essential project documents such as white papers, analyses, or presentations to back opportunities.
• Research markets and trends to identify growth opportunities for internal use.
• Refine data analyses to support proposals and client presentations.
• Address escalations promptly and ensure compliance with senior guidance.
• Provide technical and transactional support for complex relationships as needed.
• Develop strong relationships with client counterparts.
• Attend industry events to expand the professional network and represent Marsh.
• Coach junior team members by leading through example.

Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our local Corporate Broking team at Marsh. This role will be based in Hong Kong.

We will count on you to:

• Leads on personal accounts by setting goals and implements action plans, monitoring progress, assuring service meets or exceeds client expectations, and protecting the firm from Errors & Omissions.
• Drafts essential comprehensive project documents intended for clients including: white papers, approaches, quantitative financial analyses or general presentations on new subjects or opportunities to support the creation of sales opportunities and account backing.
• Conducts research on various markets or industries as designated to find resources on new growth areas and trends for expansion for internal use to identify growth opportunities.
• Conducts and refines data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.
• Addresses escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, helps manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and applies judgement as to when to elevate major issues to senior level colleagues ensuring compliance.
• Offers technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and facilitate a mutual internal and external understanding.
• Develops strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organization
• Attends and participates in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.
• Coaches the junior team members through leading by example.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor degree holder or above
