Job summary

Hopewell Hotel (Wanchai) Management Limited in Hong Kong is inviting applications for a Laundry & Uniform & Linen coordinator within the Housekeeping department. You will take charge of all activities on Laundry and Uniform & Linen, handle guest enquiries/requests/complaints related to Laundry, and maintain linen standards.

The role requires Form 5 or above with relevant Housekeeping training, the ability to follow linen specifications, and good English or other languages.

Qualifications

• Form 5 standard or above with housekeeping training.
• Able to follow linen specifications and source replacements when needed.
• Able to identify linen types and uniform styles.
• Fair in spoken English and/or other languages.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of all activities on Laundry and Uniform & Linen.
• Handle guest enquiries/requests/complaints related to Laundry.
• Maintain standard of all linen requirements and stock replenishment according to Budget.
• Assess the priority needs for replacement of wear and tears in Uniform and linen within the hotel.
• Liaise with Contractor on delivery and collection of all in house linen.
• Record keeping, filing of all purchase items and specification.
• Prepare monthly Laundry Productivity report and expenses report.
• Prepare Quarterly Guest Room and F&B Linen Inventory report.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the superiors.
