Job summary

The Edge Partnership is partnering with a leading international bank to hire an experienced Transformation Programme Manager to lead high‑impact business transformation initiatives across the organisation. This is a senior, non‑IT project delivery role focused on delivering large‑scale change, PMI, and post‑merger integration.

You will define scope, drive multi‑workstream delivery, govern risks, and report to leadership.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record managing multi-workstream initiatives.
• Strong governance, risk, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience with PMI, M&A integration, and post-merger activities.
• Fluent English; Cantonese and Mandarin highly preferred.
• On-site at client office; immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programme delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder management.
• Define programme scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and success measures.
• Drive execution across multiple business functions and workstreams.
• Manage RAID and proactively remove delivery blockers.
• Establish and maintain Agile, hybrid, or structured delivery frameworks where appropriate.
• Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and executive updates.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and support key decision-making.
• Ensure programmes operate within governance and risk management frameworks.
• Monitor delivery progress and provide transparent reporting to leadership teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior programme delivery professional with a proven track record in large-scale change, post-merger integration, and business expansion projects within the financial services sector. This is a business transformation role rather than an IT project delivery position .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end programme delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder management
• Define programme scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and success measures
• Drive execution across multiple business functions and workstreams
• Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, and Decisions) and proactively remove delivery blockers
• Establish and maintain Agile, hybrid, or structured delivery frameworks where appropriate
• Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and executive updates
• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and support key decision-making
• Ensure programmes operate within established governance and risk management frameworks
• Monitor delivery progress and provide transparent reporting to leadership teams

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes within banking or financial services
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream strategic initiatives
• Strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Post-merger integration (PMI)
• M&A programme management and integration activities
• Business expansion initiatives, including establishment of new legal entities, business lines, trading desks, or banking operations
• Strong programme governance, risk management, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across multiple teams
• Experience working within Agile, hybrid, or traditional programme delivery environments
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications would be advantageous
• Fluent English is essential
• Cantonese and Mandarin are highly preferred
