Pinpoint Asia is recruiting a Business Transformation PM (M&A) for a global banking client to lead post-merger integration and the establishment of new banking entities or trading desks. This is a business-side role, not an IT delivery position, responsible for end-to-end transformation and stakeholder alignment.
You will drive cross-functional collaboration, aggressively remove blockers, and manage RAID to ensure successful operating model implementation, with strong governance and risk
About the Client: Our client is a top-tier global banking institution with a massive pipeline of business transformation initiatives across Asia. They are actively expanding and restructuring various business units and need seasoned execution specialists to manage the operational realities of their acquisitions and internal builds.
The Role & Landscape: You will step into a pure business transformation role, managing the operational complexities of mergers, acquisitions, and new business developments. This is not an IT delivery position.
Own end-to-end project delivery for major business transformations, focusing heavily on post-merger integration (PMI) and setting up new banking entities or trading desks.
Drive execution across cross-functional business teams, actively removing blockers and managing dependencies.
Lead rigorous RAID management (risks, issues, dependencies, decisions) to ensure target operating models are successfully implemented.
Engage directly with senior banking stakeholders to build consensus and force critical business decisions.
5+ years of proven experience delivering large-scale business transformation within financial services.
Direct, hands-on experience with M&A, specifically post-merger integration, or acting as the PMO for business acquisitions and desk setups.
A strong background in management consulting (rather than purely in-house roles) is highly preferred by the hiring manager.
Clear understanding of banking governance, target operating models, and risk frameworks.
Fluent English is required; Cantonese and Mandarin capabilities are strongly preferred.
This is a chance to move out of the agency or consulting grind and directly into a massive, globally recognized banking entity. You will work purely on the business side of major structural changes, giving you high visibility with senior leadership and a clear track record of tangible, non-technical delivery.
