Job summary

Guotai Haitong Financial Holdings Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Analyst / Associate for Application Support in the IT Department. You will analyse requirements, design and develop trading applications, and perform system health checks as part of ongoing support and enhancements.

Responsibilities include BAU configuration changes, user access management, and system cost & payment reviews. Strong Linux/Windows server, MySQL/Oracle, and scripting (Python/Java) skills are required; 2+ years in

Qualifications

• Degree in Computing Science, Business or related disciplines.
• Hands on knowledge in Linux and Windows server environment and relational database.
• Hands on experience in script changing; knowledge for Python/Java is an advantage.
• At least 2-year of trading system operations and trading floor support.
• Understand operations of trading and financial institutes; FIX connectivity a plus.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin; willing to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, design and develop trading applications.
• Perform system health check, support, identify weaknesses and propose solutions.
• Manage BAU configuration changes and user access; handle system cost & payment.
• Review and suggest improvements on operational efficiency.
• Implement enhancements, conduct unit tests and set up testing environments.
• Provide ad-hoc system support, system rollout assistance and interface work.
• Understand trading and algo system functions; identify interface requirements and interfaces.
