Job summary

German Swiss International School in Hong Kong invites a seasoned Director of Technology to spearhead the school's digital roadmap, IT operations, and cybersecurity, aligning technology with educational priorities.

The role oversees ERP/SIS/LMS, enterprise platforms, and vendor relationships while driving digital transformation, privacy, and regulatory compliance across the school. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years in IT leadership and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology functions including IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data governance, systems integration and user support.
• Spearhead technology strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity and data governance.
• Partner with academic and operational leaders to ensure technology supports teaching and learning and improves school-wide processes.
• Oversee HRIS, SIS, LMS, finance systems and other enterprise applications.
• Lead integration and automation projects, identity management and data governance initiatives.
• Develop and deliver the technology and digital roadmap, modernising legacy systems.
• Promote effective use of technology and emerging tech to boost efficiency and decision-making.
• Provide executive oversight of cybersecurity, privacy, risk management and business continuity.
