RGH-Global Limited, on behalf of an international toy testing and safety organisation in Hong Kong, seeks a Senior Laboratory Engineer / Assistant Manager to lead hands-on electrical and mechanical safety testing and QA in its toy laboratory.

You will supervise one team member, coordinate daily lab operations, and support accreditation processes (ISO/IEC 17025, HOKLAS) while ensuring compliance with EN 62115, IEC 62115, EN 71, ASTM F963 and ISO 8124.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline
• 2-5 years hands-on experience in a testing lab; more experienced candidates welcome
• Strong capability in electrical safety testing for toys/consumer electronics
• Working knowledge of EN 62115 / IEC 62115 and ISO/IEC 17025; understanding HOKLAS accreditation
• Experience in physical, mechanical and flammability testing; familiarity with toy safety standards
• Ability to interpret standards, operate lab equipment and prepare clear reports
• Good command of English and Cantonese or Mandarin
• Supervisory/mentoring experience is an advantage

Responsabilités

• Conduct and oversee electrical, physical, mechanical and flammability testing for toys and juvenile products
• Test against EN 62115 / IEC 62115, EN 71, ASTM F963 and ISO 8124
• Interpret requirements, assess results and investigate safety concerns
• Prepare and review technical reports and maintain testing records
• Support ISO/IEC 17025 and HOKLAS accreditation activities
• Develop and update SOPs, test methods and work instructions
• Ensure equipment is operated, maintained and calibrated
• Coordinate testing schedules and provide technical support to teams
• Supervise and coach one team member; monitor quality and turnaround times
