Job summary

3C RGH is recruiting for a Senior Laboratory Engineer / Assistant Manager to join its toy safety lab in Hong Kong. The role blends electrical and mechanical testing with quality assurance and accreditation support.

You will supervise one team member and coordinate daily lab operations in a hands-on environment. The position requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics, 2–5 years' lab experience, and strong knowledge of international toy safety standards.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 2–5 years hands-on testing lab experience; more experienced candidates welcome.
• Strong electrical safety testing knowledge, ideally for toys or consumer electronics.
• Familiar with EN 62115/IEC 62115 and ISO/IEC 17025; understanding HOKLAS accreditation.
• Able to interpret standards, operate lab equipment, and document results.
• Proficient English; Cantonese or Mandarin is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee electrical, physical, mechanical and flammability toy testing.
• Prepare and review technical reports and maintain testing records.
• Support accreditation activities and audits; document control and corrective actions.
• Develop SOPs, test methods, and lab work instructions.
• Supervise and coach one team member; coordinate testing schedules.
