Job summary

Soundwill Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Building Services professional to assist with routine maintenance, manage repairs, and coordinate with tenants. You will monitor facilities performance and oversee testing, commissioning, and handover processes.

The role requires a Diploma or above, 3 years in commercial buildings, strong leadership and communication, and fluency in English and Chinese. Immediate availability is highly desirable. Attractive remuneration and fringe benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Building Services or related discipline.
• 3+ years in a commercial building context.
• Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker in Grade A or above is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organisational and customer service skills.

Job description

• - Assist with routine maintenance and operational tasks.
• - Prepare specifications and tender documents for repair and maintenance work.
• - Address technical requests from owners and tenants.
• - Monitor the performance of building facilities.
• - Prepare lists of equipment and inventory.
• - Supervise and conduct testing and commissioning.
• - Provide full support for all technical matters related to property takeover and handover.
• - Coordinate with internal departments and tenants to review fit‑out submissions, and oversee alteration, addition, and improvement projects.
• - Monitor the service quality of relevant contractors.
• - Assist in budget preparation and cost control.
• - Plan, implement, and review the Preventive Maintenance Program and energy conservation measures to achieve the company’s sustainability goals.

Requirements:

• High Diploma or above in Building Services / Building Studies / Building Technology & Management/ Building surveying or related disciplines;
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in commercial building;
• Holder of a Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker in Grade A or above will be an advantage;
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, and able to work under pressure;
• Positive and proactive, service-oriented with excellent customer and problem-solving skills;
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is required;
• Immediate availability is highly desirable.
