Job summary

TEKsystems in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to guide a new, high-traffic system from design through deployment, with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and collaboration with an established engineering team.

You will drive AI integration efforts, shape architecture, codify best practices, and stay hands-on when needed to unblock the team, while aligning with stakeholders on delivery timelines and business goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of JavaScript experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong foundation in system design and architecture.
• 2+ years in Tech Lead roles guiding engineering teams.
• Hands-on coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an existing team of engineers through the full project lifecycle.
• Design and build a new high-traffic, scalable system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
• Provide technical guidance, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices.
• Stay hands-on to unblock the team as needed.
• Coordinate delivery timelines with cross-functional teams.
• Support and drive AI-related initiatives and AI integrations.
• Design and champion cloud-native architectures for scalability and reliability.
