The successful candidate will mentor peers, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid Hong Kong environment with strong emphasis on security and scalable design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven leadership of frontend/backend teams and architecture ownership.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and code reviews.
• Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• AI-Assisted Development: define use of AI coding tools and set safety standards for merged code.
• Architecture & Patterns: own team service architecture and patterns for modular systems.
• Coding (70%): write/review production TS/Node/React with AI tooling from design to testing.
• Code Review & Quality: enforce best practices; balance automated checks with human review.
• Mentorship: coach engineers with feedback, pair programming, and AI usage guidance.
• Issue Resolution: debug, incident response, root-cause analysis, prevention.
• Planning & Delivery: plan work, balance workloads, manage releases.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: align with Product, Design, Business on feasibility and timelines.
• CI/CD & DevOps: maintain pipelines, monitor health, enforce security/automation.
• Process Improvement: identify bottlenecks and drive tooling/workflow gains.
