Job summary

HKT is seeking an experienced AI software architect to design and implement sub-systems for an in-house AI-integrated platform across multiple business domains. You will oversee secure, scalable AI-enabled solutions using Python, NodeJS and React, and collaborate with offshore teams to ensure high performance and reliability.

You will apply prompt engineering and vibe coding practices, drive secure SDLC with threat modelling, and mentor teams on AI technologies, agile delivery, and risk

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in system design and architecture with AI integration.
• Proficiency in Python, NodeJS and React; knowledge of Java Spring Boot/Spring Cloud is a plus.
• Expertise in prompt engineering to optimize AI model performance.
• Familiarity with AI tools/frameworks (MCP, Agentic Frameworks, AI Safety Framework).
• Experience with vibe coding and AI-assisted development tools for rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore development teams (2-3 per team) in AI-enhanced software delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI strategies and implement prompt engineering best practices.
• Foster a culture of innovation through vibe coding and AI-assisted development methodologies.
• Mentor teams on new AI technologies and secure development practices aligned with objectives.
• Drive Agile delivery for AI-focused projects with iterative improvements.
• Ensure SDLC security integration from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for software projects.
• Take a hands-on role in project delivery and technical reviews.
