Job summary

Mars Company Hong Kong Limited is seeking a proactive Demand Planner to drive accurate forecasting and business insights for the Taiwan market. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure healthy growth, smooth replenishment and excellent customer service.

The role acts as the gatekeeper of forecast accuracy, translating demand forecasts into production requirements and working with cross-functional teams to deliver timely product availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, business planning, or financial processes.
• FMCG background is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven track record in accurate planning and cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid business acumen with understanding of sales cycles, trends, and market implications.
• Experience in roles such as analyst, commercial planning, sales operations, or customer management preferred

Responsibilities

• Forecast consolidation: Gather sales forecasts from key account teams, consolidate into the total Taiwan sales plan, and validate feasibility.
• Demand analysis: Support sales in building accurate forecasts using historical data, customer insights, supply fulfillment, and category trends.
• Business performance review: Partner with the TWHK Demand Planning Manager to host demand meetings, review Taiwan performance, and contribute to strategic discussions with sound rationale.
• Reporting: Prepare management reports and assist the Market Director in monitoring performance metrics.
• Risk & opportunity management: Handle financial projections, highlight risks, and propose opportunities to unlock growth.
• Supply chain collaboration: Work with Supply Chain to ensure agile replenishment, optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and maintain high customer service standards.
