Job summary

YATA Limited, Hong Kong, is seeking an Inventory Planner to ensure stock levels meet demand while minimizing costs. You will forecast, plan, and optimize inventory across the store network, collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce aging stock and waste.

The role requires a degree inBusiness or Supply Chain Management and 3+ years of SCM experience, with strong analytical skills and bilingual English/Chinese. Proficiency in D365, SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management.
• FMCG or retail sector experience is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Chinese and English proficiency.
• Proficiency in D365, SAP, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock availability and optimal stock coverage by monitoring store levels and adjusting replenishment strategies.
• Working on the demand and supply planning cycle to develop business plan.
• Monitor product performance and sales trends to forecast demand accurately and adjust stock levels as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle aging stock and slow-moving items to reduce costs and minimize waste.
• Assist in inventory and logistics cost monitoring and address supply chain challenges to ensure seamless operations.
• Continuously improve inventory management processes to enhance on-shelf availability and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in ad hoc duties as required by supervisor.
