Job summary

MING PAO HOLDINGS LTD. 明報集團有限公司 seeks an IT support specialist to keep day-to-day IT operations running smoothly.

You will assist with server, security appliance, networking and video conferencing environments, ensuring incidents are resolved promptly and configurations stay well documented. The role requires a diploma or degree in IT and at least two years of relevant experience in system infrastructure and security support.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in system infrastructure and security support.
• Knowledge of infrastructural installations, intrusion detection systems and data backup.
• Proficiency in end-user support and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Windows Server, Novell OES and Linux is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-users technical support and maintain IT operations.
• Perform support and administration on servers, security appliances, networking devices, firewall and video conference solutions.
• Implement and enforce security policies, procedures and corporate standards.
• Respond to and resolve system incidents and service requests promptly.
• Assist with system installations, configurations, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Document and maintain records of system configurations, procedures and inventories.

Requirements :

Diploma or Degree holder in IT or related disciplines

At least 2 years of relevant working experience in system infrastructure and security support

Knowledge of infrastructural installation, intrusion detection systems and data backup

Proficiency in end users support and troubleshooting skill

Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server, Novell OES and Linux is an advantage

Shift duty is required including Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday, shift allowance will be provided
