Job summary

MEDIA WORLD COMPANY LIMITED in Hong Kong is seeking a System Engineer to join the IT Support team on a full-time basis in Central and Western District. You will maintain, configure, and support our enterprise systems and infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and optimal performance across the organisation.

The role requires hands-on system administration, strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux, and practical experience with networking, virtualization, and IT security.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a System Engineer or in a similar IT systems support role.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in network management and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP protocols.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a team environment.
