Job summary

Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional in Hong Kong to design, implement and manage the company’s servers, storage, networks and security. The role requires hands-on network/ firewall skills and data center management experience, with strong vendor liaison abilities.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in computer-related fields and possess at least five years of infrastructure experience including Windows/AD environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years infrastructure support and Data Center Management experience.
• Hands-on operation with networks and firewall setup.
• Experience with server upgrades, installation and migration.

Job description

Design, setup and manage the IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking , database and security systems.

Setup and maintain communication/network policy, standard, security and procedure.

Coordinate with both internal and external parties including vendors and contractors.

Perform system capacity monitoring and performance tuning.

Support system maintenance and system drill test.

Manage and co-ordinate with third party vendors of all bug-fix and maintenance activities.

Manage Hardware infrastructure as a whole.

Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,Information Technology or related disciplines.

Minimum 5 years infrastructure supporting and Data Center Management experience on capacity planning and infrastructure management.

Hand-on operation on Network and firewall setup.

Experienced in infrastructure project, such as server upgrade, installation, migration.

Experience in Windows Server or above, Windows AD and vSphere administration is an advantage.

Experience in Linux.

Good command of Chinese(Cantonese & Mandarin) and English.
