Job summary

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Wellness and Counselling Centre invites applications for a position within the Office of Student Affairs. The appointee will provide psychological counselling and psychotherapy to students, conduct risk assessments, and support developmental programmes to promote overall wellbeing.

Appointment will be on a two-year contract basis, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology or Social Work.
• Registration, accreditation, or full professional membership with a recognized professional body.
• At least three years of relevant post-qualification professional experience.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for student wellbeing, a self-driven and proactive attitude, and a strong team spirit.
• Experience working with university students and/or young adults is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Providing psychological counselling and psychotherapy services to students.
