Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited seeks a VP/Head of Fund Operations to lead end-to-end operations across private funds, ETFs, public funds, QFII-related business, and Discretionary Accounts in a dynamic asset management environment. You will drive process standardisation, risk controls, and regulatory compliance while mentoring a high-performing team.

This role partners with investment, trading, risk and IT, ensuring accurate NAVs, settlements, and reporting, and you will oversee audits, KYC/AML

Qualifications

• 10+ years in asset management operations or fund administration.
• Proven leadership of operational teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Deep knowledge of fund workflows across private/public funds, ETFs, QFII, and discretionary accounts.
• Experience with KYC/AML reviews and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end fund operations across private funds, ETFs, public funds, QFII-related business, and Discretionary Accounts.
• Establish, maintain, and improve fund operations framework, control environment, and SOPs.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing, reporting, and exception handling including trade matching and settlement issues.
• Manage daily operations: subscriptions/redemptions, cash flow, trade settlement, fee payments, reconciliations, NAV valuation, and position monitoring.
• Supervise system automation initiatives and new fund launches, including test planning and UAT.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing required operational data.
• Perform KYC/AML reviews during account opening and subscription processes.
• Manage relationships with custodians, fund administrators, auditors, and other service providers.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks across the fund lifecycle and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement for efficiency and scalability.
