Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead the group’s purchasing team and shape group-wide procurement policies. You will develop strategies to achieve cost savings while ensuring governance and compliance across all divisions.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement and insurance management, with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement to drive performance and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, administration, procurement, finance, accounting, logistics or related discipline.
• 8+ years post-qualification experience, 5+ years in procurement at supervisory level.
• Good knowledge of insurance arrangement and handling; familiarity with policies is a plus.
• Membership in HK Institute of Purchasing & Supply and formal purchasing training preferred.
• Hands-on PC skills and experience with computerized procurement systems.
• Tactful with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of purchasing staff to execute bulk purchase processes for the Group to achieve savings and efficiency.
• Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures for the Group; propose strategic improvements.
• Assess Group-wide purchase needs and formulate accurate procurement plans.
• Monitor procurement timeliness and compliance with tender/quotation procedures.
• Advise Tender Board on best terms from tender returns to optimize Group benefits.
• Administer Group insurance policies and handle major insurance claims affecting finances.
• Review Group insurance needs and ensure adequate coverage; provide guidance to divisions/offices.
• Supervise and train staff to ensure efficient and effective services for user divisions offices.
