Blue Cross is seeking an accomplished General Insurance Product Owner in Hong Kong to lead end-to-end product development, pricing, and underwriting guidelines. You will collaborate with regulatory authorities, governance teams, and cross-functional partners across underwriting, distribution, marketing, claims, finance, and technology to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance or Business Administration.
• 8 years of progressive experience in product development, underwriting or project management, including at least 5 years in management roles.
• Proven track record in driving new product design and operational workflow, preferably financial-line products.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and revamp of emerging General Insurance products, focusing on financial lines (e.g. D&O, PI, Cyber, FI risks).
• Conduct market analysis, industry trend and competitor review to identify product opportunities and enhance competitiveness.
• Design and implement product features, pricing frameworks, and underwriting guidelines, ensuring alignment with business strategy and risk appetite. Ensure profitability and sustainability.
• Establish and manage reinsurance arrangements, including treaty and facultative placements for large or complex risks.
• Develop and implement end-to-end operational workflows on new products with clear SOPs and service standards.
• Ensure all products comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
