Job summary

Blue Cross is seeking a Strategic Product Owner to lead the development and management of assigned general insurance products, including design, reinsurance structuring, and operational workflows, ensuring scalable, customer-centric solutions.

You will collaborate with underwriting, distribution, marketing, claims, finance, and technology, engage regulators, and drive end-to-end product implementations with strong project management and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance or Business Administration field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in product development, underwriting or project management with at least 5 years in management.
• Proven track record in driving new product design and operational workflow, preferably financial-line products.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and revamp of emerging General Insurance products with focus on financial lines.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive reviews to identify opportunities.
• Design and implement product features, pricing frameworks, and underwriting guidelines.
• Establish and manage reinsurance arrangements for large or complex risks.
• Develop end-to-end operational workflows with clear SOPs and governance.
