Job summary

Blue Cross in Hong Kong is seeking a senior portfolio manager to lead underwriting, pricing, product development, reinsurance and operations design. You will drive customer-centric solutions balancing growth, profitability and risk while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will work with regulators, governance, Claims, Distribution, Marketing, Finance and Technology to deliver portfolio growth and enhance the customer journey, embedding a customer-first mindset in every decision and action.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Chinese required.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end underwriting lifecycle including pricing, product development, reinsurance and process design.
• Collaborate with regulators and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and portfolio growth.
• Embed customer-first thinking in decisions and action across teams to improve outcomes.
• Drive timely underwriting services and maintain service standards while achieving profitability goals.
• Support strategy in underwriting, pricing controls and risk appetite to sustain portfolio growth.
