Blue Cross in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Product Head / Senior Manager to own the end-to-end development and management of the general insurance product portfolio. The role translates market opportunities into commercially viable product propositions, driving concepts through launch and ongoing performance.

This cross-functional position requires collaboration with actuarial, underwriting, distribution, claims, operations, technology, risk, and governance, with regular strategy

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Actuarial, Finance, Insurance, or related field; professional qualifications are an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in general insurance product development or product management, with end-to-end ownership of at least one full product launch.
• Strong knowledge of drafting and reviewing T&Cs, policy wordings, and product launch docs.
• Solid understanding of actuarial principles, underwriting and claims processes.
• Excellent project management with ability to manage multiple initiatives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior executives and governance committees.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.

Aufgaben

• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights to identify product gaps and growth opportunities.
• Manage full product development lifecycle—from ideation to business-case approval.
• Design and implement product features, T&Cs, ensuring alignment with strategy, pricing and risk appetite.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and deliverables; manage risks and timelines across stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive product launch packs for distribution channels.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal governance standards.
• Collaborate with Claims to incorporate insights into product iterations.
• Engage Sales Channels to ensure marketability and go-to-market readiness.
• Prepare and present product strategies to Senior Management and Product Committee.
• Conduct post-launch reviews and drive enhancements.
