Job summary

DFI Retail Group is looking for an experienced Internal Communications professional to coordinate across the Group, ensuring clear, timely information for colleagues from head office to stores. You will manage intranet, email and newsletters, craft articles and campaigns, and support senior leaders with messaging.

With 5+ years in internal communications, you will drive engagement through creative concepts, photography, videography and design, balancing fast pace with brand voice and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement, content, social media or marketing, with a record of delivering multi-stakeholder projects or campaigns.
• Creative ideas supported by a strong portfolio, along with solid hands-on photography, videography, and design skills.
• Strong social media instincts and a feel for what people share.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, including managing several workstreams and stakeholders at once.
• Exceptional written communication skills with a clear, natural, and human-centered voice, and brings a warm, collaborative approach with the confidence to influence stakeholders across diverse business functions.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Familiarity with creative and AI-assisted tools, and with intranet, is a plus.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Internal Communications Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan and run internal communications across the Group.
• Manage day-to-day content and channels, including the intranet, email, collaboration platforms and newsletters.
• Write and produce everyday content, such as articles, announcements, short video, photography, graphics and social-style posts.
• Deliver themed campaigns, such as cyber awareness, sustainability and AI, working with business units, HR, IT, and other functions to keep timelines, owners and approvals on track.
• Help keep the internal communications calendar coordinated across businesses.
• Support senior leaders with messaging, talking points and event content.
• Track engagement and feedback and use them to improve each campaign.
• Develop creative concepts and fresh formats for campaigns, and brief agencies on higher-end production.
• Share ideas, formats and tools that lift the creative standard across the team.
