Job summary

Futu Securities in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned capital markets leader to head secondary market transactions and investor relations for listed clients. You will own deal origination, execution, and bespoke structuring across block trades, refinancings, and equity placements.

You will manage a proprietary institutional network across Hong Kong and US equities, run roadshows, and lead flagship capital markets events to elevate our market position among international investors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or related discipline; advanced degree (MBA/CFA) a plus.
Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in ECM / Equity Sales at a reputable Sino-Hong Kong brokerage or bulge bracket firm; candidates with senior IR experience at HK-listed corporates or leadership roles at capital markets-focused institutions encouraged.
Native-level fluency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese proficiency is a distinct advantage; location Hong Kong or Shenzhen; willingness to travel frequently across Greater China and key investor markets.

Responsibilities

Strategic Deal Origination & Execution: Identify, structure, and lead secondary market transaction opportunities across block trades and equity placements; advise on bespoke capital markets strategy.
Institutional Investor Coverage & Relationship Management: Leverage network of institutional investors in HK/US equities; organize roadshows and investor meetings to optimize execution.
Capital Markets Platform Leadership: Plan and deliver flagship events like earnings presentations and Investor Days to elevate market positioning.
