Job summary

Green Lake Executive Search is engaged by a Hong Kong-listed financial institution seeking a senior Capital Markets & Investor Relations Lead to drive strategy and execution of investor relations and capital markets communications.

Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin required; Cantonese a plus) and a strong track record in capital markets will be essential to engaging with funds, analysts and media while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience, previously Senior IR or CFO at a HK-listed company.
• Deep understanding of fintech and technology platforms.
• Knowledge of HK Listing Rules, Takeovers and Mergers Code, and capital markets compliance.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the Group's capital markets and investor relations strategy.
• Orchestrate capital markets communication cadence around results announcements, strategy announcements, material transactions and new business launches.
• Establish and maintain dialogue with long-only funds, hedge funds, analysts, financial media and strategic investors.
• Optimize the shareholder base, enhance market visibility and liquidity, and manage market expectations and public sentiment.
• Monitor comparables, fund flows, market sentiment and valuation frameworks, and provide strategic advice to the founder/Board.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, PR and investment banking teams to ensure all external communications are compliant and consistent.

• Formulate and execute the Group's capital markets and investor relations strategy;

Ideal Background

• 10+ years of relevant experience, having previously served as Senior IR or CFO at a Hong Kong-listed company;
• Deep understanding of the new economy, fintech, technology platforms and boutique investment banking;
• Familiar with the Hong Kong Listing Rules, inside information disclosure requirements, the Codes on Takeovers and Mergers, and capital markets compliance requirements;
• Proven track record leading capital markets communications, investor base optimization, valuation re-rating or crisis communications;
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin required; Cantonese a plus;
• Strong narrative skills, high emotional intelligence and resilience under pressure; able to engage directly with the founder and senior management.
