Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate to support the Corporate Finance Advisory group. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Finance or related discipline.
• CFA is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in English; Japanese language strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Producing quantitative and qualitative analysis to make broader financing and capital structure recommendations
• Assessing financial implications of a wide range of transactions and associated capital structures
• Participating in complex deal structuring for both M&A and capital raising transactions
• Conducting industry and product research, including producing content around trending topics
• Performing financial analysis using industry-standard and proprietary models
• Building financial models to address problems in relation to capital structure, credit ratings, and financing solutions
• Learning and interacting with J.P. Morgan's clients, products, services, and business practices
• Preparing presentation materials and participating in deal pitches
• Executing client transactions from inception to closing
