PJT Partners in Hong Kong is seeking an Analyst for its Strategic Advisory group. You will contribute to execution of transactions, perform financial analyses, and draft client-ready presentations within lean deal teams.

You will work on sellsides, divestitures, acquisitions, and restructurings across diverse industries, with exposure to senior practitioners and cross-border opportunities. The role requires strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, a Master’s Degree, and at least one

Qualifications

• Top class Master’s Degree from a leading university, with preference for Economics, Finance, Accounting or adjacent areas.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant Investment Banking experience with focus on M&A and Corporate Finance.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional Asian language is required; Korean preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of key finance and accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in lean deal teams.

Responsabilités

• Act as a key contributor to the execution of transactions, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiation of contracts and other agreements; work with senior members of the deal team.
• Perform financial and valuation analysis of perspective investment opportunities, building and holding responsibility of complex financial models.
• Contribute to the drafting of presentations and written recommendations for PJT Partners management and client review.
• Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use.
• Conduct financial and other business-related research of targeted companies and sector trends.
• Coordinate the delivery of complex processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Active involvement in client-facing situations, participating in client meetings.
• Assistance in the execution of transactions.
• Support mentoring and day-to-day coordination of team resources.
