Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking an Air Procurement & Capacity Manager to lead airline procurement, capacity planning, carrier management, and BSA negotiations across APAC trade lanes. The role offers regional exposure and opportunities to drive network performance and procurement excellence.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in air freight/logistics, proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and strong Excel/Outlook proficiency, with English and Chinese language

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of experience in air freight, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Proven experience in airline procurement, carrier management, and rate negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of air freight operations, capacity management, and BSA arrangements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute air freight product, capacity, and procurement strategies.
• Lead airline and co-loader negotiations on rates, capacity, and BSA agreements.
• Manage carrier relationships to optimise cost, service quality, and capacity utilisation.
• Oversee air freight allocations, bookings, and network capacity planning.
• Support regional teams on product development and capacity management initiatives.
• Drive new service, trade lane, and network development opportunities.
• Monitor carrier performance, market trends, and operational KPIs.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with global procurement strategies and corporate policies.
