Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited seeks a Sr Network Infrastructure Manager to lead enterprise-scale network and infrastructure initiatives. You will oversee planning, design, governance, and delivery, aligning technology with business growth and digital transformation.

The role requires deep hands-on and architectural knowledge across routing/switching, SDN, security, and cloud networking, with strong stakeholder management and communications skills in a complex enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in network and infrastructure management with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial capacity.
• Strong hands-on and architectural knowledge of Routing and Switching Technologies, SDN, Firewall and Security Technologies, Cloud Networking and Hybrid Infrastructure.
• Professional network certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, HCIP, or HCIE are highly preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Additional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL would be advantageous.
• Proven track record managing multiple projects and stakeholders within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience overseeing vendor management, procurement, and contract administration.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Must be fluent in English and Cantonese, with Putonghua as an advantage.

• Oversee design and implementation of network infrastructure across operations and development environments.
• Provide technical leadership across enterprise networking, IT infrastructure, and OT environments.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and fit for current/future needs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen security posture.
• Participate in architecture and design governance forums to evaluate technology changes.
• Oversee readiness and support of core network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Manage procurement including requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, tenders, contracts, and vendor management.
• Establish infrastructure standards, policies, documentation, and procedures.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve project and operations outcomes.

We are partnering with a large-scale organization undergoing significant technology and infrastructure transformation to appoint a Sr Network Infrastructure Manager. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving enterprise network and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring technology capabilities support business growth, operational resilience, and future digital transformation programs.

The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, governance, and delivery of complex network and infrastructure projects while working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, technology partners, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale network and infrastructure projects.
• Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives to enhance reliability, scalability, security, and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure infrastructure solutions align with organizational objectives.
• Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business users, facilitating communication, issue resolution, and project delivery.
• Oversee the design and implementation of network infrastructure across both operational and development environments.
• Provide technical leadership covering enterprise networking, IT infrastructure, and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Ensure network solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and fit for current and future business requirements.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement appropriate controls and strengthen infrastructure security posture.
• Participate in architecture and design governance forums, evaluating the impact of proposed technology changes.
• Oversee operational readiness and support of critical network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated platforms.
• Manage procurement activities including requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, tender processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
