Job summary

Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong seeks a Sommelier - Blanc de Noirs to join our F&B Service team. You will manage beverage service, wine inventory, and promote sales while participating in daily restaurant operations and serving wines and spirits. The Sommelier reports to the Director of Wine.

Responsibilities include delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining bar efficiency, updating beverage lists, training staff, and ensuring proper stock control.

Qualifications

• WSET certificate required or holder.
• Minimum 2 years in F&B or hotel industry.
• Experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants preferred.
• Pleasant, presentable, service-oriented, a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a delighted bar and dining experience to guests.
• Oversee and maintain smooth operations in bar areas.
• Understand guests’ needs and provide excellent service and recommendations.
• Ensure beverage lists are updated and sales records maintained.
• Monitor storage, aging rotation and temperature of stock daily.
• Provide on-the-job training to bartenders and service staff.
