Job summary

HKT in Hong Kong seeks an experienced pre-sales consultant to architect ICT infrastructure solutions for large corporate clients. You will translate business needs into end-to-end technology architectures and collaborate with sales, product and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes networking, cybersecurity, data analytics, and proof-of-concept delivery, with strong communication in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Information Technology/Systems.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in designing infrastructure solutions for large-scale deployments, esp. networking and cybersecurity.
• Professional level certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCDP/CCIE or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales consulting focusing on networking, cybersecurity and data analytics.
• Articulate solution benefits and differentiators compared with vendor products.
• Collaborate with internal sales, product and engineering to formulate ICT solutions.
• Design ICT/digital solutions involving subsystems like VA, data analytics, automation, BI, AI.

Job description

Your Role:

• Provide pre-sales consulting services and focus on infrastructure solution design according to corporate customers’ needs, it includes but not limited to networking, cybersecurity, data analysis, etc.
• Well articulate the solution benefits, Pro and Con in comparing with different vendor products and understand differentiations as well as values to customer business.
• Work closely with internal sales, product and engineering teams to formulate an effective and efficient ICT solution to address their challenges.
• Derive and design the ICT / Digital solution that may involve single or multiple sub-system(s), e.g. VA, data analytics, automation, BI, AI, new digital transformation projects, etc..
• Design and conduct proof of concept of solutions proposed to Enterprise customers.
• Prepare sales proposals or tender responses together with high-level migration plans.
• Participate in account development plan of major account to formulate the strategy and assist in exploring new opportunities across different industries.

To Succeed in this Role:

• Degree holder in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Information technology/ systems
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in the layout and providing solution for large scale of infrastructure is required, along with proficiency in the design and consulting of networking and cybersecurity in related to IP network.
• Professional level on Domain area with accredited Certified and recognized membership, e.g. Cisco CCNP/CCDP/CCIE or equivalent
• Both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect solutions by mapping common customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.
• Self-motivated with good technical sales, presentation and communication skill.
• Proven analytical abilities and a strong work ethic.
• Strong sense of responsibility, a well organized and reliable person with good team spirit

• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
