Job summary

A leading IT consultancy in Hong Kong is seeking a professional to support the Sales team in driving infrastructure services, especially in virtualization and cloud solutions. The role involves gathering client requirements, proposing solutions, and delivering presentations. Candidates should have a university degree in IT, with at least 3 years of relevant pre-sales experience. Proactive communication skills in both English and Chinese are essential. Knowledge of technologies like DELL EMC and Veeam is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience in Pre-Sales or relevant experience.
• Technical knowledge on Virtualization, SAN Storage, HCI, and Backup Solutions.
• Holder of professional certifications like VCP would be an advantage.
• Technical knowledge on Virtualization, Server, SAN Storage, HCI and Backup Solutions.
• Knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud & AliCloud) are plus but not mandatory.

Job Description

• Support Sales team to drive infrastructure services business or opportunity, especially in Virtualization, SAN Storage, Backup solutions and Hybrid Cloud Solution
• Obtain and review client’s requirements as to propose the best-fit solutions to fulfil client’s needs
• Prepare and deliver solution for customer, including presentation, demonstration, PoC, proposal writing
• Responsible for solution design and Scope of Work
• Proactively works with sales team to support sales activities
• Ability to operate under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• University Graduate / Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science or Information Technology, or relate discipline
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Pre-Sales or with relevant experience
• SI or Distributor experience would be an advantage
• Technical knowledge on Virtualization, Server, SAN Storage, HCI and Backup Solutions
• Experience on below brands and technologies have advantages
  • Storage: DELL EMC, Pure Storage, NetApp, HDS and HPE etc.
  • Backup: EMC, Veeam, Commvault, Veritas etc
• Holder of professional certifications would be an advantage (e.g. VCP)
• Knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud & AliCloud) are plus but not mandatory
