Scalingi Business Consulting Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a part-time Social Media & Video Editing Specialist to transform supplied footage into engaging videos and social content that supports our clients’ market-entry work.

You will work closely with the founder, develop content around entrepreneurship and cross-border business, and ensure our brand is clearly communicated across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other channels.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating video editing and social media content skills.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software.
• Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
• A good understanding of video pacing, visual storytelling and platform formats.
• Ability to create content that feels engaging while maintaining a professional image.
• Reliability and ability to work independently within agreed hours.
• Chinese writing and subtitling skills; filming experience an advantage.

Social Media & Video Editing Specialist (Part-Time)

We are looking for a creative, organised Social Media & Video Editing Specialist to strengthen our digital presence and bring our expertise to a wider audience. Working closely with our founder, you will turn business insights, supplied footage and company materials into engaging videos and social media content. Your work will help entrepreneurs and business owners understand opportunities in Asian markets and discover how our services can support them. This role suits someone who enjoys storytelling, understands professional branding and can make complex subjects clear and interesting.

Key responsibilities

• Edit supplied footage into engaging short videos for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant channels.
• Add accurate subtitles, music, graphics, covers and clear calls to action.
• Develop content ideas around entrepreneurship, market entry, business expansion and cross-border business.
• Repurpose company articles, insights and service information into videos, carousels and social posts.
• Write clear captions and create supporting visuals consistent with our brand.
• Maintain a content calendar and schedule approved posts.
• Review performance and recommend improvements to topics, formats and presentation.
• Organise footage and project files, manage revisions and meet agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate with the company to check business information before publication.

About you
