Job summary

Smart Section HK Limited is seeking a creative Content Creator to join our Hong Kong team as a founding member, helping build our operations from the ground up and growing with an international company.

You will craft short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and RED, edit with CapCut or Premiere Pro, coordinate shoots and models, and publish content with data-driven optimization and audience insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in short-form video creation and editing.
• Proficiency with CapCut, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong storytelling and content planning abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research trends on TikTok, Reels, Shorts and RED to create concepts and scripts.
• Plan and execute short-form video shoots and coordinate models.
• Edit videos with CapCut or Premiere Pro, add subtitles and effects.
• Publish videos across platforms and optimize captions and hashtags.
• Monitor performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports.

Smart Section is a fast-growing short-form video marketing agency headquartered in Japan, helping Japanese brands expand their presence across Asian markets. We are looking for a creative and proactive Content Creator to join our Hong Kong team as one of its founding members. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with an international company and contribute to building our Hong Kong operations from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Research trends on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Xiaohongshu (RED), analyze viral content and competitors, and develop creative concepts, scripts, and storyboards
• Plan and execute short-form video shoots, film product demonstrations, beauty content, and lifestyle videos
• Edit videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software, add subtitles, music, transitions, and visual effects, and ensure high-quality content aligned with brand guidelines
• Recruit and coordinate models and content creators, arrange filming schedules and shooting locations, and direct models during filming sessions
• Publish videos across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and RED, manage posting schedules and content calendars, and optimize captions, hashtags, and posting strategies
• Monitor video views, engagement, and audience insights, analyze content performance and identify improvement opportunities, and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
• Communicate with clients and incorporate feedback into future content

About you

• Experience in short-form video creation and editing
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
