Job summary

The ISF Academy in Hong Kong is seeking a Short-term Teacher of Design for Secondary School (Jan 2027–Apr 2027). You will teach Grades 6–10 with an integrated approach across Fashion, Graphics, Materials and Systems Design in a well-resourced setting.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s Degree with teacher qualifications, have experience in an IB MYP Design context, and demonstrate strong IT and curriculum development skills, with a willingness to work in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with professional qualifications in education.
• Solid experience in teaching across Grades 6 to 10 using an integrated approach covering Fashion, Graphics, Materials and Systems Design.
• Knowledge/experience of teaching IB MYP Design is preferable.
• Strong commitment to STEM education; Makerspace is provided at school.
• Experience in a bilingual working environment is advantageous.

We are now seeking an energetic, qualified and experienced candidate to fill the following position:

Short-term Teacher of Design – Secondary School (Ref: SEC/STDT/20260911_jdb)

Contract Period: January 2027 – April 2027

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with professional qualifications in education;

Solid experience in teaching across Grades 6 to 10 students using an integrated approach covering Fashion, Graphics, Materials and Systems Design in an extremely well-resourced subject area;

Knowledge in and experience of teaching IB MYP Design is preferable;

Strong commitment to STEM education, a dedicated Makerspace is provided at school;

Experience in a bilingual working environment is advantageous; and

Strong IT and curriculum development skills will be regarded favorably.
