Job summary

Robert Half Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Trade Operations professional to oversee mission-critical trading support activities and enhance operational controls. The role focuses on process automation, risk management, and strategic project delivery across business and technology functions.

You will manage day-to-day trading support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution and high-quality service across capital markets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Approximately 10 years of experience within trade operations, capital markets operations, brokerage operations, exchange operations, middle office, or related financial services functions.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin would be advantageous.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with data analytics, reporting tools, automation, SQL, VBA, Power BI or similar technologies would be beneficial.
• Experience delivering operational improvement, system implementation, or workflow transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day trading support activities ensuring a controlled, efficient operating environment.
• Serve as central point of contact for clients and stakeholders, resolving trading-related issues promptly.
• Monitor operational risk, governance, and controls to maintain a resilient trading backdrop.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements across trade support workflows.
• Lead or support strategic projects including platform enhancements and product implementations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and maintain procedures, control frameworks, and business continuity plans.
