Job summary

Charterhouse Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead the technical operations of a diverse portfolio. You will oversee a full spectrum of engineering management activities, from design through installation, coordinating with designers, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality.

The role requires a degree in building services, mechanical, or electrical engineering, with 15+ years of proven management experience and professional body membership

Qualifications

• Degree in building services, mechanical, or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of solid engineering management experience with a proven track record in a renowned portfolio.
• Corporate membership in professional bodies is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve site issues and manage a sizable team.
• Results driven with self-initiative and excellent communications abilities.

Responsibilities

• Account for full spectrum of technical management duties to ensure smooth operations of the portfolio.
• Manage project pipeline from design, submissions, procurement to installation with support from designers, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Analyse tender and procurement process.
• Review and monitor vendors' performances to promote quality excellence initiatives.
• Offer professional and value-added advice to senior management for sustainability measures.
• Develop and maintain standards and procedures to ensure strict compliance.
