Responsibilities
Windows Server & Infrastructure Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and IIS.
System Health & Performance Monitoring: Monitor and tune server performance, apply patches, and troubleshoot incidents.
SFC Regulatory Compliance: Implement and audit controls to meet SFC regulations and support audit readiness.
Backup, DR & Business Continuity: Design, maintain, and test data backup and DR plans for mission-critical finance systems.
Automation & Scripting: Automate maintenance tasks using PowerShell scripts.
Project Advisory & Collaboration: Serve as technical lead on infrastructure changes and collaborate cross-functionally with security, network, and cloud teams.
Mentoring & Leadership: Mentor junior admins to strengthen the team's skills.
Vendor & License Management: Manage vendors, negotiate support contracts, and oversee the licensing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of Windows Server and Active Directory administration, with PowerShell scripting experience.
Proven experience supporting SFC-regulated environments or within audit-focused financial institutions.
Experience in scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, plus familiarity with virtualization tools (Storage and VMware).
Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM, finance IT compliance frameworks.
Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA preferred.
Preferred experience with trading platforms.
Preferred experience with Linux and cloud integrations.
Exposure to hybrid environments combining on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
