Job Description
- Be a dedicated team member within the Information Technology Department
- Execute system-related tasks to ensure the provision of effective and efficient computer systems for application development and production
- Conduct system activities, including hardware/software evaluation, planning, implementation, maintenance, and support
- Apply necessary patches and fixes, perform system monitoring and tuning, and review security baseline compliance
- Engage in capacity planning and prompt problem-solving for system issues
- Review hardware and software that is approaching end-of-support and plan for necessary upgrades or replacement
- Provide expert technical support and advice to application development teams, operations staff, and other relevant parties
- Report the progress of all system activities and project implementations to the supervisor
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of hardware and software inventory
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements
- Possess a Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- A minimum of five years of experience within the Information Technology sector is required
- Demonstrate solid experience in Wintel systems administration, encompassing change management, patching, security, and application support
- Exhibit strong technical proficiency in a Windows server environment
- Possess good knowledge of computer products such as VMWare, Citrix XenApp, Control‑M, and MS SQL
- Good understanding of relevant policies, procedures, practices, and rules
- Be a good team player who is organized, independent, self‑motivated, flexible, and capable of performing effectively under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
