Job summary

Cathay Pacific is seeking a Senior Solution Lead for Cathay Subsidiary Services to drive technology direction and solution delivery across subsidiaries such as Cathay Dining, Cathay Cargo Terminal, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry.

You will lead a delivery team, partner with senior stakeholders and shape product roadmaps, while advancing digital transformation, AI and low-code initiatives to accelerate business value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience across software development, system analysis, business analysis, solution design and testing.
• Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, with a master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience leading and delivering medium to large-scale technology initiatives.
• Experience managing software development teams and coordinating with external vendors or delivery partners.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with extensive client-facing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Experience working in Agile environments and promoting modern delivery practices such as DevSecOps.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, APIs, mobility solutions or modern software architecture is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into technology solutions.
• Provide pre-project consulting and shape product roadmaps aligning tech investments with business goals.
• Lead the design, development, implementation and support of IT products and applications across a domain.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and architects to deliver scalable, innovative solutions.
• Drive medium to large-scale initiatives with planning, governance and risk management.
• Oversee solution quality through testing across security, performance and integration requirements.
• Manage and mentor delivery teams, analysts and external partners with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and value.
• Lead digital transformation and improve processes, UX, and operational efficiency via technology.
• Drive adoption of AI, automation and Power Platform with prototypes to validate ideas.
